Designed for you

Premiership kit at grassroots prices. That's what we're trying to do here. Because we believe that the grassroots is the heart of the game. So we've done a lot of listening to players, a lot of testing, and a lot of thinking, and here's what we've come up with. We've put great attention to detail into designing everything about our rugby kits, from the position of seams in our socks to the hi-tech fabric used in our jackets, as you'll see when you start to use it.

Each garment is designed for comfort, ease of use, practicality and flexibility. The full range is designed to let you have your entire touring kit matching - in your club colours and with logos if you want - from on-the-pitch kit, to training gear, to clothes you can travel or socialise in. And because we are set up to make small runs affordable, you can have the logo and colours you want at a reasonable price.

Look at any item in our range and you can see our attention to detail. Like in the extra long zips at the ankle of our tracksuits, so you can get them on and off over your boots, or like the zipped pockets so you don't lose your keys, or the cool-mesh panels in our socks.

You don't want to buy something that looks good on a website, and then find out what's wrong with it after a few weeks of wear. We don't want you to either! That's why, not only have we designed our kit right down to the last detail, but we built prototypes and tested them to destruction as well. So that any potential problems have been ironed out well before we went into production.

Designed with performance in mind

All our kit has been designed with playing performance in mind. We've always used the best fabric for the job – many cutting edge high technology fabrics, but also some old favourites when we found that they were the best choice after all.

We've used advanced wicking fabrics for our kit and our leisure and training wear, and most items include cool-mesh panels to improve breathability and comfort. The Classic rain jacket and trousers, Training windshirt and Reversible rain jacket are all made from our modern, high-tech showerproof (and yet breathable) fabric, to keep you cool while keeping you dry.

We've also used old favourites like acrylic yarn in our socks for its combination of comfort and durability, and polycotton drill in our Training drill top, again, for comfort and for its extremely hardwearing qualities.

You want your kit to be hardwearing and look and feel as good in the 100th game as in the first. You don't want the colours to fade or run, which is why we've mainly used modern polyester fabrics or polycotton blends, which don't run like cotton. You want your kit to keep its shape, despite the rough and tumble of playing, and not to fray or wear, that's again why we've used hardwearing polyester and polycotton. Sometimes there has to be a trade-off between durability and performance, and we've always used the best fabric for the job. For example, the most hardwearing fabric is our polycotton drill, that's why we've used it for our training tops, which you can train in seven days a week for years, if you want, without running, wearing or stretching. However, it's not quite as breathable as the high-tech polyesters used in our playing tops – you'll wear your playing tops less often and performance while playing is key.

We're proud of our designs, but we're always interested in hearing from you about how they have been in play, and any suggestions for improvements you might have. Contact us online, or write to us at Rugby Kit Designer, 41-45 Richmond Terrace, Carmarthen, Carms. SA31 1HG.
